SKIN TYPES

There are different skin types for different people, and it is mandatory to be able to identify these differences in other to get the best look and long lasting wear of make up.

·         Dry skin – It is characterized by small pores, dull finish and quick formation of expression lines. This skin needs regular lubrication to restore moisture, therefore reduces lines and flakiness. Like all skin types, it also needs to be cleansed but gently without over stripping.
·         Normal skin – It is healthy looking and contains a balance of oil and moisture. It also has its share of breakouts and clogged pores, so it has to be maintained by adding moisture and refining the skin texture.
·         Combination skin – It is characterized by an oily T- zone (across the fore-head down to the nose and the chin), and dry areas from the T-zone. The key is to control the excess oil and hydrate the dry areas.
·         Oily skin – The oil glands on the skin over produce oil causing the skin to look shiny. It is characterized with big pores and prone to breakouts. The key is to control surface oiliness by deep cleansing.
·         Sensitive skin – This skin could be dry/oily, but it reacts easily to products, therefore the person is advised to use Non-comedogenic and clinically tested products, also fragrance free and oil free products.
